About Me

Hello there! This is Juan Martin and Pamela!

We are a young couple from Argentina with deep desire of travelling, working, learning, and meeting people.
We recently graduated from college and now we both are officially Technicians in Hotel Management. We speak Spanish and English. We both have the Italian citizenship, and Italian and Argentinian passport.

We met in college on 2016 and travelled two times to the USA to work in a luxurious hotel. The first time, we lived four months with people from the Philippines, and the second time, we lived with Peruvians for almost five months. So we are pretty flexible and we like culture sharing.
After those two working experiences away from our country, we had the chance to travel the USA and we realized we wanted to keep going to places and travelling more and more.

We are absolute cat and dog lovers. We like animals of any kind like hamsters, reptiles and bunnies.

Now, Pam is going to write a little about Juan:
Juan Martin is an energetic person. He likes doing all types of sports. He loves soccer and basketball the most. He also likes the wildlife and going fishing and camping. He likes cooking specially barbecues and Argentinian dishes.
Juan is a handyman. Anything someone needs to fix, he can do it. He is good with tools and machines, as well as with computers and electricity.
He is good with kids and loves to talk and spend time with anyone.
The first time Juan went to the USA he did not know how to speak English very well, but at the end of that trip he was speaking with everyone in a way I would not have imagined! I think he was very brave and he learned a lot. Now he has significantly improved his English but he is still wanting to learn more!

Juan will put a few words about Pam…
Pamela is the most patient and peaceful person I have ever met. She likes things like yoga, meditating, painting and doing all sorts of crafts. She also likes photography, she likes to take pictures of wildlife. Specially animals. She has lots of good pictures of deer, birds and insects.
I am proud of her because after finishing high school, she decided to go to study English abroad in California. There, she met people from various European countries. She has some friends that I still haven’t met, in Belgium, Germany, The Netherlands, Spain, Finland and Norway.
She loves speaking in English and interacting with foreigners. She is easygoing and I don’t know anybody who doesn’t love Pamela.
When Pamela has to make a decision she is very cautious. She likes to search about it and think it a little bit.

As a couple we want to grow together and share experiences that we can be proud about. We like to share what we know and learn about what others have to offer. Our ultimate goal is to learn from other cultures to understand how the world works, and to be able to break the stereotypes that our country and others have.
We are anxious to start this new adventure, and we hope we can share it with you!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are in Couchsurfing because we love meeting new people and learning things about other countries as we love to share our traditions and culture.
We have discovered Couchsurfing could be the best tool for traveling and shearing with new people and new cultures. We aren't afraid to try new food or drinks (this is what we like the most) and we love cooking Argentinian dishes to make the people taste our food.
We like to compare the things Argentina is similar to others countries and in which things we are different.

Music, Movies, and Books

We like almost every music but it has to be in the correct environment, we mean if we are in a party we love to listen to proper music for a party and the same if we are in a date or in a friends meeting. The music gives that special touch for the moment to be perfect or a disaster.

We love true story movies, good comedies, drama, thrillers, in general we love cinema. The actors and actresses we like the most are Tom Hanks, Jennifer Aniston, Leonardo Di Caprio, Kate Winslet, Robert De Niro, Zack Effron among others. The recient movies we like the most are The Joker, Hereditary, Wonder, The Fault in Our Stars, Aladdin, Bohemian Rapsody if you read this list you can see we like diferet types of movies haha.

Our favourites books are fantasy books like Harry Potter, Lord of the rings, A song of Ice and Fire (Game of thrones) and some others.
