About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To put at least an infinitesimal small contribution to make mankind better...through my research

ABOUT ME

I enjoy good conversations about life and experiences, remembering good moments with friends or people I met, but also enjoy lots when I can talk about science, politics and travelling.

I like good food but I'm pretty bad cook. However, I enjoy (believe me) washing the dishes!... it's my little contribution for my friends cooking; and I can help serving wine or coffee.

PHILOSOPHY

'The view of everything depends on the crystal you put in between'. I'm pretty bad for taking strong sides, so I keep trying to be in the middle ackowledging everyone is a little right.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

Hope I can host people at home sometime, but also meet some people when travelling.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

Little experience, but I met amazing people through it. I like the most, is that locals give you an insight view of cities you visit, that make all the difference.

Interests

Dancing salsa, ..., although I can't practice much in Minnesota.

I like Football and Formula 1. Although I'm not such a great driver and not great for speed myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

Movies for me depend on my mood. Sometimes I just want some action or a good laugh so Hollywood type movies are just fine.

However, I also enjoy foreign cinema. Argentina and Mexico have great movies, as well as European countries.

I listen Rock music all the time. When going out I prefer Rock too but also enjoy Salsa and Latin music.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Even if I've been lucky to visit several places around the world, what still strike me the most is the unfair huge bridge between the very few who have everything, and the vast majority who have nothing. Most of us wave in between.

I thought this was a Colombia thing (my native country) but It's simply true everywhere, even if at different proportions.

Teach, Learn, Share

Can't comment yet since haven't started. I have obviously couched friends but because of reference of different places, specially when I lived in Edinburgh, since the place I'm living in US is not so popular for travelling (Minnesota).
