About Me

I am an avid traveller, by plane, by boat, by car, and recently by my new motorcycle. I worked as an engineer for 7 years internationally, then I became a stone carver. Now I do both.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I like to meet people as I go, and take extended trips , going to go on a motorbike ride from Vancouver to California, then over to Texas, and see how far I can go. Naturally, I cant stay in hotels all the time, but even if I did, I would still like to meet the locals and see the places through their perspective. And I would love to host random people when they come through, when I buy some land next year!

Interests

I do calligraphy. I carve stone, architechtural, lettering, mouldings. I love Martial arts, movies. and Travel.

Music, Movies, and Books

Count Of Monte Cristo, Musashi. Movies, wow, soo many, but any of Star Wars, Star Trek, and pretty much anything a geek or a nerd would like! LOVE Game of Thrones!

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Depends, whats amazing to me may be trivial to others, but i went skydiving, and for a guy who was afraid of heights, thats a big thing for me.
I worked on the stone restoration of the Shrine of the Bab in Haifa Israel for 3 and a half years. That was the greatest time of my life!

Teach, Learn, Share

I have lots of travel stories, of traveling with bedoiun in the Negev desert, and to the dead sea, Biking from Prague to Romania, to transylvania through the borgo pass. Walking the longest teak wood bridge in the world, in Burma, ( now Myanmar.)

I love to learn, about history, and about crafts.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I like to leave works of Calligraphy and other art, drawings for hosts and people, random, in restaurants, in geustbooks. I leave uplifting passages, or poems of Rumi.
I can also fix a lot of things, being in construction.
