I am passionate about children, fairness and kindness. I am quirky, creative and independent. I crave simplicity, diversity,beauty and art. I love hearing people's stories...and knowing about the things and people who helped to shape their lives.I tell stories through my paintings. I expect greatness and am not tolerant of the mean spirited, apathetic and superficial. Science, architecture and sweet smiling faces make me swoon:)

My two college aged children, art and education matter most in my life. I paint, teach, read, travel, seek beauty and inspiration. I am surrounded.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I am awed by my children. My heart aches and swells in the presence of great art...children at play, dancers, artists, writers, great minds. I cried when I saw the Sistine Chapel in 1986. I excitedly looked forward to my daily conversations with the street fruit vendor in NYC every morning for the 5 weeks that I lived as an artist in residence at the School of Visual Arts. It took my breath away when I first experienced the abundance of color and beauty in Niagra Falls, Canada.
