I got married late in life, got the most adorable hubby, and we both enjoy travelling and socializing.

as a South African in the UK, i had hosted many family members and friends as well as family of family(not necessarily known to me!)
I am generally positive,outgoing and pro active.

I had not participated since joining, as my employment had made it very difficult. Things are changing now, so I do hope to be able to joining and sharing experiences with others

enjoy a variety of writers, and movies range from arty movies to all the James Bond's and off course a girl's favorite genres: romantics...I adore Julia Roberts as actress, and wont miss any of her movies. Barbara Streisand, Queen, Jacques Brel and any accapella choirs tick my music boxes.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

working full time whilst studying had been challenging, but made my masters something I will always be proud of.

I have seen so many amazing things in my lifetime, I think i need to start to write that book i still want to write!

I do suffer with depression, but living with it is a daily challenge. i do enjoy sharing my bit of the world with others, and will be able to show a bit of my discoveries of Birmingham and beyond.
