About Me

I normally work as an employee from a social institution at a simple hotel in Luzern but I love to travel and explore the world with my motorbike. Most of the time I travel solo - just me and my motorbike (named Suzy Blue) ;-) Countries I traveled so far:
not with the motorbike: Australia, Philippines, Canarian Islands
with the motorbike: many countries in Europe, Canada, USA,Mexico, Central America, South America (west cost), Albania, Croatia

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

The most interesting part on my journey - next to the beautiful landscapes - is meeting people, locals from the different regions and cultures. Talk with them about their life, their dreams.
Unfortunately Iˋm not able to host travelers as I moved into a super mini 1room apartement to save money for my next trip. But I would be happy to help with any information and show somebody around in Luzern.

Interests

People from different countries
Music (i play active in a carneval music in Luzern)
Hiking in the beautiful Swiss mountains
and of course: driving the motorcycle on and off the road!

Music, Movies, and Books

Supertramp (my real favorite), many bands form the 1970 - 1980, rock, blues, soul adn a lot of the now popular songs, but also classic like Smetana & Dvorak
Reading is part of calming down after a exhausting working day. So mainly crimis and I love historical but still interesting books (James Michener is one of my favorite).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

To go on my trip; leave my family, my job, my cats behind me for 6 months ...
On my 40th birthday I went skydiving - not togetherwith a guide but more or less alone

Teach, Learn, Share

I can sure share everything that somebody likes to know about Switzerland, but also about all the other countries I already visited.
I can teach to cook some Swiss specialities (like Rösti or Fondue)

What I Can Share with Hosts

My good humour and all the stories I can tell from all the people I already met on my journey.
I can help of course in the household as much as is needed or cook a nice swiss meal.

Countries I’ve Visited

Australia, Austria, Canada, Croatia, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Norway, Philippines, Portugal, Romania, Spain, United Kingdom, United States

Countries I’ve Lived In
