I spent the last half year in New Zealand for my studies, and had the time of my life in that amazing country.
At the moment I'm exploring a bit of Australia before it's time to fly back home to the Netherlands.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

A couple of years ago I made a profile here, but unfortunately I didn't get to use it yet, so I'm very new to couchsurfing. I really like the idea of meeting locals and getting to experience a bit of 'regular' life in different places, instead of just visiting as a tourist.
At the moment I'm looking for places to stay, but I'm sure I'll miss traveling once I'm back home and I hope I can welcome people from all over the world once I have the chance to host them.

You might know the quote, 'Always leave people better than you found them'.
During all my travels I've experienced so much kindness in many different forms, and I find that these experiences come to be the greatest memories.
I love the idea of sharing some positivity, whether that's sharing stories and experiences, having a meal together, or something else.
If you're not convinced yet, I can also bake pretty good apple pie :)
