我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

It is a crazy story but amazing :)
I used couchsurfing for the first time when I bought concert tickets on impulse for Chicago's show in Portland, Maine on February 4th 2016. Chicago is one of my favorite rock band and when I saw that they were playing in Portland at 6 hours drive away from Quebec city. I did everything possible to have a ticket. First, I found a friend of mine who was willing to come with me on this adventure. Then, I had to buy 3 resale tickets 4 days before the show, even if we were only 2! I did it!!The tickets were expensive but I realized the real cost when I saw my bank account with the US dollars translation to Canadian dollars. I was freaking out so I decide to switch to a survival mode by using Couchsurfing to look for a host in Portland. I found an amazing host the day before our departure.
She was our 3rd one.

兴趣

FOOD SCIENCE - When physical, biological and chemical are mixed together to explain the makeup of food and also the concepts underlying food processing. As we eat three times a day, it is so fascinating to understand how all the molecules works together during preservation, processing, packaging, distribution, and food safety.
MUSIC- I like the way how music can bring people together and also how it can make us feel emotions. I love to listen to music while doing a lot of stuff like cooking, studying, walking, working out, hanging out with friends, etc. I love to go to live music shows, especially rock music shows but I have interest for many kind of music. I am the kind of person who will be motivated enough to go anywhere for a band that I love. If there is a festival in town, I enjoy to go see music band that I don't know to discover new vibes.
SPORTS - Mountain bike and yoga are my favorite sports. I used to play soccer a lot but I had to stop because of knee injury.
I love biking through the beautiful sceneries of Quebec city.

Classic rock music :Pink Floyd, Chicago, Electric light Orchestra, Aerosmith, Jimi Hendrix, Janis Joplin, Eric Clapton, Bee Gees, Queen, etc.
BOOKS-I don't read a lot of book but I have interest for science books about brewing science, nutritional medicine, functional food, food processing and food fraud.
MOVIES- I rarely watch movies, my favorite ones are comedies starring Adam Sandler (Happy Gilmore &You don't mess with the Zohan) or starring Will Ferrel (Step brothers) some quebec movies starring Michel Côté like Cruising bar & C.R.A.Z.Y
