About Me

I'm Judith, a tropical islander from the Philippines. I've lingered in a tropic state of mind for 25 years so I took my nice golden tan and a bucketful of good vibes with me and moved to Australia. Yeah, I'm stepping out of my comfort zone and saying YES to new adventures! I love sunny evenings because I get to hangout more with friends or spend a Me time at the park while catching up with my long lost hobby - reading! I'm a fun coffee date and always always always in the mood for food (Except curry. Sorry curry lovers!). My friends say that I'm Rachel, Phoebe, and Monica combined. I'm not sure how true it is. I might not quite know myself that much, but you can host me for us to find out!

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I learned about couchsurfing because my friend was hosting couchsurfers while I was staying with him in Auckland, New Zealand. During my stay there, I enjoyed being with people from the different parts of the world. We had heaps of fun dinners and drinks together. That amazing experience made me want to meet new friends and learn new cultures and languages, especially Spanish and French!

Interests

I'm a travel bug too but recently, I do it occasionally as I need to focus on career and residency in Australia. I'm a mermaid in a human's body so if you're in for a beach trip, I couldn't say no! I also like doing yoga, pilates, barre, and dancing. If you’re into these things too, I'd love to go to classes with you! Otherwise, we can chill over wine and have deep conversations to nonsense thoughts, because wine not?

Music, Movies, and Books

I love exploring different types of music across all genres, even if I don’t understand the language! As long as it sets the mood, either when we're chilling or having random chitter-chatter, I'm keen to add them in my Spotify playlist.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I went to Sydney last June 2018 for a quick business trip. I arrived on Saturday morning and took a coffee fix in one of the coffee shops at Wentworth Ave. While I was sipping my cup of sunshine, I came across a random circular that says "Top 10 things you can do in Sydney". On the front page, I saw "Sydney Skydiving". So… you already know what happened next ;)

Teach, Learn, Share

I haven’t been around the world that much as I've only travelled a lot in the Philippines and some parts of Asia. I can share my travel wrinkles if you're cooking up a rove to The Pearl of the Orient Seas and you may also share some tips from the places you’ve travelled already :)

What I Can Share with Hosts

I'm very new to couchsurfing. If you are too, it’ll be fun to learn together. If you're a dab hand, I'd love to hear your stories!
