About Me

My name is Judith, I'm from Barcelona, Spain. I'm 24 years old. I went to UUEE to work in a elementary school teaching spanish and living a new experience. In Barcelona I live with my family, parents and brother. I'm an animal lover, I like sports and above all adventure sports. I love travel, I would like to travel around over the world. I'm so friendly and open minded.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm in couchsurfing because it's been already the second time someone tell me about it, and are always good things, so this trip is going to be my last trip before I go back to Spain from the UUEE, and there's some things that I want to do in my life, one of those is to travel by myself, to plan a trip just for me, alone. And I didn't know about couchsurfing, so when my friend told me about it I though that's a good beginning for my future experiences traveling by myself.

Music, Movies, and Books

I like any kind of music. I think each style have it's beauty. But the music that I most enjoy and I can feel more than just hear is techno music.
I love romantic movies and family movies because both use to have a happy ending. But I also like a lot action movies and catastrophic and war movies based in real facts.
About my favorite books I don't really have a favorite one, but I like to read books about education because it make me thing about so many real situations in the school where I work at.
And now I'm also trying to read more in english to keep learning.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

For me something amazing that I've done in my life is go to UUEE to live for a year. Living with two different families, teaching spanish in a elementary school, and being always as much risk taker as I can.

Teach, Learn, Share

During all this experience living in Wisconsin, with all new people for me, learning the language, the culture and everything I realize this is the best way to learn about everything, to learn how to be safe out of your comfort zone, to understand the reasons why other cultures act different than your own, sharing cultures, being an open minded. In the school where I'm working at, when a kid bring something to share with their friends, we have a sentence, it's says thank you for sharing, and the kid who was sharing have to say, thank you for listen to me. So those three words: teach, learn and share, reminded me how important are those three acts. Someone is teaching something, the rest are learning about it, and they all are sharing through comments and questions.
And this is my goal in my life and in my job, always sharing to get knowledge.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I want to know new people, I don't want just to have a travel, I want to know people during my trips, I would like to share that little part of my life with someone who want to know about it. I'm always open to talk, to listen, to have company, etc.
