About Me
CURRENT MISSION
Find out what kind of footprint I would like to leave on this planet
ABOUT ME
Hey, I'm 28 and a political scientist with a profound interest in art and architecture. I have just returned from a year in London where I did research at the Center for Research Architecture at Goldsmiths College. I'm still trying to find out how to bridge the gap between the professions of politics and architecture/urban planning - and travelling to other countries is an important part of this mission.
PHILOSOPHY
Work in progress...
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE
I was always frustrated with mainstream travelling as the only interactions you have are trade-related... When I started with couchsurfing I instantly loved it as it gave me the opportunity to explore foreign countries and cultures in an entirely different way, that is: with and among the people who live there. So, in a way: couchsurfing saved me (=couchsaving)!
Interests
International politics, international law, architecture, art. I've been instructing seminars on political education for young people for many years.

I'm a great pasta chef (or so say my friends)
Learn: Anything about the political state of the countries I'm visiting, how the people there perceive their societies, the aspirations they have...
