I have a passion and life goal to see the world. My first international trip was to Uganda, Africa. I spent a month there when I was 18 and completely fell in love with meeting new people, experiencing different cultures, trying exotic foods, and appreciating the beauty that the world has to offer. I spent a year as a deckhand/engineer on a small river cruise ship line which allowed me to see some amazing places but not enough. I have the travel bug and can't wait to explore many more countries. I love hiking, playing my guitar and singing, reading, coffee, conversations, and listening to the world around me. I am definitely at my best on the road, I gain so much from the people I meet along life's journey. I can't wait to see where the world will take me and have no intention on stopping anytime soon.

Because its awesome, I've experienced Couchsurfing through friends who've hosted many surfers. I hope to be able to have my own place soon to host surfers and show them great hospitality like so many others have showed me.
