I was born and raised in Southern California where the sun shines all 4 seasons of the year. After being in one area my entire life, I decided that it was time for me to get out of my comfort zone and see the world! So, I quit my nursing job and went solo backpacking for 10 months in Asia (the best decision I have ever made).

After 10 months of traveling, I realized that it was still too early to return home. After much thought, I decided to live in South Korea for 1 year!
