ABOUT ME

We are a very active familly of 4 who enjoys spending time together. My husband is a computer technicien and owns his own business. I have an MBA and work as a general manager of anon-profit coop specializing in home care.

Our oldest son is 17 going on 18 soon and lives in Ottawa for school,. Our youngest is now a super responsible 15 year old yes! they exist! come on over and I'll give you proof! lol

Our 2 dogs are 3 years old and we've worked hard to make sure they are well behaved and a pleasure to bring everywhere. They usually don't come with us on vacation, but we bring them everywhere else if possible. Beleive it or not, they both have their own lifejackets and are ready to go canoing!

PHILOSOPHY

Don't trouble trouble until trouble troubles you!
If it's not broken, don't fix it!
It is impossible to know everything... but always possible to find everything.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We have attended a few local meetings and had fun metting other people. I sometimes wish we were closer to a major city so that we could have more couch requests. we have yet to host our first official couchsurfer even thow our house has been open for many friends (and friends of friends) in the past.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I have couchsurfed on my own and as a family and have never been dispointed. I'd have to say that without a doubt, my most memorable trips were my couchsurfing ones! the concept that total strangers can open their home and make you feel like you've known them all your life amazes me! I hope some of them make it our way eventually or that we can meet up again even if just for desert.

兴趣

Out of all 4 of us, I think I'm the most adventurous, always looking for fun and unusual activities that will give me my much needed touch of adrenaline. Even if they rarely instigate these moments, at least they are game enough to participate and try another one of "mom's wacky ideas" (not that I think there's anything wrong with them! lol). Anything new and different will peek our interest. We enjoyed rock climbing, kayaking, speleology, hockey and skiing. The list could go on and on, but the basic thing to know is that we are up for just about anything. Yes we love adventure but are also at ease relaxing and just enjoying life.

Repelling down waterfalls last year was really fun! the adrenaline junky in me was more then satisfied :)
