ABOUT ME

What should I say about myself...I am a young doctor, who usually works a lot, but who loves travelling, meeting new people from all around the world, getting to know new cultures and learning languages. Recently it has been harder to find the time for all that. Usually I am cheerful, and optimistic, and I love spontaneous things: especially when I travel.

PHILOSOPHY

That is a very good question. I enjoy learning about the world, in every kind of way. I also believe we can all make this world a little better. The rest I am still trying to figure out.

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

I joined the local CS group, and I plan to host and meet travellers, though I am just getting really started!

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I hosted a few travellers, inside and outside of CS, and also I enjoyed the hospitality of great people along my trips.

Interests

All kinds of sports, like figure skating, roller-blading, volleyball, especially beach-volley, tennis, swimming, wall climbing, cycling. Also martial arts, though I stopped practising karate last year.
Dancing salsa, and all kind of latin dances and also ballet.
I like the theatre, I wish I could go more often!
And of course travelling, hiking, meeting new people, learning about different cultures, learning and using different languages.

Music, Movies, and Books

Well, I like too many movies to list here, mainly comedies, some drama...I love Star Wars!
I like all kind of music, recently I listen a lot to salsa, bachata, reggeaton...but I also like some pop, rock, R&B and soul...also hip-hop, depending on my mood. I like classical music while studying.
I used to read a lot of novels, science fiction, fantasy... unfortunately since medical school I don't have a lot of time.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

I have seen amazing places, like the Niagara Falls, the Great Pyramids in Egypt, I tried snorkelling in the Red Sea...

Teach, Learn, Share

I like practising languages, both teaching and learning during a conversation. I enjoy doing sports, and I am trying to live a healthy life in general, while trying to leave only a minimal footprint in the world. So, like sharing ideas about health, sports, travelling, and how to live in a more sustainable world.
