HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING
During my travels i was very active with Cs.I went to localevents (boardgame night bangalore, CS meeting Chennai, Indian Trail Blazers, Meetings in pondichery). In Austalia i went couchsurfing in wollongong and we had a regular au-pair evening on the thursday evening wich i put on CS. Whenever i go traveling i always look for a place to go couchsurfing and for people to meet!
I've had some guests over at my house, but i havent been very active the last two years. Im trying to be more active now im setteld down.

Surfing a couch has many advantages. It brings you in contact with locals who are known in the area and can help with traveling, City viewing and bring you in contact with his / her friends. They show you the good spots or help you saving time by skipping whats not worth of youre time.
Couchsurfing is just one big family and makes the world look small!

Qué puedo ofrecer a los anfitriones

A guest room, sightseeing: Giethoorn, hunebedden, molens etc.
A Bike, a car ride, food, my cat, evening entertainment: games, sharing stories, handcrafting, drinking or dancing in the pub
During summertime Meppel organises a lot of events like: Grachtenfestival (early june), Donderdagmeppeldag (thursdays in july and august) picknick in the park (early sept), Live in Meppel (early sept)
