ABOUT ME

I have spent my last 7 years in Portland, Oregon where I studied psychology, and art and social practice. A good friend of mine and I started a non-profit there called Public Social University where, culled from Portland's rich and diverse artist and non-profit community, we organized free events on themes such as water, friendship, and oral history. Since then, I have graduated college, and become bored of waiting tables. So I quit my job and sold most of my belongings. I traveled to and from Montana/Nevada/San Francisco and Oregon and went to Europe, did some nanny-ing in Italy and received TEFL certification in Prague, then made my rounds again from the bay area, Montana, Oregon and Nevada... I didn't know exactly where I would end up, but my family, friends, capoeira group, and the sunshine has found me now in the bay area, with the hope in my heart that I will realize success of all flavors.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I feel so greatful for the people who I have met through couch surfing. It has been an eye opening experience to see how people open their homes to strangers, a favor that I am excited to return one day.
