About Me

CURRENT MISSION

Always see the beauty of the world

ABOUT ME

Happy bubbly person looking to explore and learn. I left my small home town thats 8 hours drive from the beautiful city of Montreal when I was 17, to come study Theatre, one of my life passions. I lived and worked as an actor for a couple of years. After a long trip to South East Asia and 6 months in Mexico, I decided to go back to University and study Sexology. I have been stable in Montreal since 2008 doing a Bachelors and a Masters degree and working with people who have lived trauma (conjugal violence, sexual violence) or who are marginalized (immigrants, non-status folk, LGBTQI2+ individuals, people living with HIV, sex workers, mental health). I love to help people see how powerful and valuable they are. I am now working full time as an internship coordinator in the Sexology department of a University until October 2019. I also teach a couple of classes. What will I do next? not sure. Where will I go? Life will tell me. I am open to a new big adventure!

In my free time, I love to go dancing (blues, swing, salsa, contemporary, fusion), biking, moving around the city… I also love to cook and eat!!!

I am a very opinionated person who tends to fall on the left spectrum of politics. I have very sharp critical analysis skills and LOVE to have heated discussions. Feminist, anarchist and anti-capitatist views make me happy. Sexism, racism and homophobia make me very angry. I do not like oppression in any form.

PHILOSOPHY

I believe in Karma, What goes arroud will eventually come around. Be respectful. Love life and live it very passionately.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Here are 3:

Mount Batur (Active vulcano in Bali: Climbed it at 3 am to see the sunrise at the top at 6am eating sulfure boiled eggs and listenning to our guide singing traditional balinese songs.

Anca bambu villages in the Jungle of northern Thailand sitting in a Bamboo bar hanging from a scary cliff sipping of tea from the forest.

Leaving my little home to come study theatre in the 'BIG' city against my parents will.

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach english or french, dancing, singing, acting, cooking, yoga and will gladly teach anything someone might want to learn from me. I will try to learn as many things as possible from anyone or anything.

What I Can Share with Hosts

I have a nice little apartment in Rosemont Petite-Patrie, a 5 minute walk from Métro Fabre and 20 minute walk to the amazing Jean Talon Market! As you can see in the pictures, I have a big double room which can be closed off by curtains for some intimacy. My sofa is huge and can easily accommodate two travellers. I work evenings so I have lots of free time to show you the city. I am also off on Mondays, Fridays and Saturdays, perfect for making great meals together and sharing a bottle of wine and amazing conversations!
