CURRENT MISSION

I am swimming around in the big ocean of life without any plans or directions. My current mission is getting lost in the ocean and still enjoying the swim and get some art done.

ABOUT ME

I love to communicate and to laugh. I worked two years as a lawyer, but found it very boring and not not funny enough to live on with it. So I quit and started to study art (stop motion animation films - see photos). I live with 5 other people, talk and laugh a lot and figure out the way of communication via film and foto to not get on my flat mates nerves all the time with my little stories. Another passion of mine is travelling. It satisfies the hunger for knowing new interesting people and finding new subjects for my art. When I travel I meet great people all the time that still can laugh about my little stories and did not see my films yet. This is what I most enjoy about travelling.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

We always hosted a lot of people in our flat; friends, visitors, refugees... Then, on of my flatmate became member of couchsurfing and we started to have had hosts. Since that thankfull experience I got curious and started to find out about the different couches of the world. Actually, most of the time I prefer to not to stay in a place of somebody I don't know. Sometimes hospitality can be so heartfull and overwhelming, that it gets a bit too much for me as a nothern german individualist. But meeting for a coffee or tea was always a nice experience. Sometimes a little film scene may be the result.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

It is wounderful to meet people on the road that are not workings with tourism. Mostly I am interested in meeting other artist or filmmakers. CS is a good option- but there are too many men who think this is a dating site. This kept me from using my account for a while (and put only photos of my films)
