ABOUT ME

I am pretty bad at describing myself, but i will try it anyway. My name is Julian, i am 18 years old and German. I finished school in Germany, worked a couple of months and started my trip in New Zealand. I spend 5 amazing months in this beatiful country and soon ill visit Fiji and Dubai. I really enjoyed my journey so far and travelling will become my greatest and most expensive hobby for sure^^ Meeting new people form all over the world and getting a small impession of differen cultures and lifetyles is so much fun for me. Back in good old Germany i enjoy spending time with my mates,playing soccer and go skiing. I even participated in a fitness club for 6 month, with more or less success :P I am not a quite serious guy, i hope we can have much fun together and that you have the same kind of humor :D Give it a go, Sweet As ^^

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I didint really know much about couchsurfing before i experienced it myself. A friend of mine was staying at an amazing couple in Auckland, while i was spending my time at a hostel there. They were so kind to invite me aswell to their house, we were introduced to their friends and they told us some amazing secret spots on the noth island, where we should go. We had such a good time with them, so i decided to try cs aswell^^

Interests

-Just spending time with my friends, i realiced during my travel how important they are for me.
-Sports, as i explained above ;)
-Computer games, it happends that i spend a couple of hours online :)
-Wwoofing, i had my first wwoofing experience in New zealand and i really enjoed it. I was born and raised in a city and that "rural life" was so strange to me.

Music, Movies, and Books

I enjoy listening to the radio and watching these "normal" Hollywood action movies. My favourite movie is Shutters Island, my favourite Series are How I Met Your Mother, Simpsons, Scrubs and Eureka.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

-jumping out of a plane in 13000 feet high, just a amazing experience
-Tongariro Crossing in New Zealand, i didint expect that 7 hour walk to be worth every single minute^^
-5-days canoe trip on the whanganui river in NZ, 5 days in a complete loneliness, without cellphone coverage and any sign of any civilasation at all
