About Me

My name is Julius. I am in my early twenties and joined Couchsurfing 3 years ago when I was travelling America. Couchsurfing made my trip like 10 times better, I got thousands of amazing stories and friends and no since I am back in Germany I am trying to give back as much as I can.

I grew up in Munich, which I thoroughly love. I went to various kinds of schools, got my highschool degree, went abroad for some travelling, came back, moved to Nuremberg to study Business Administration which I'm gonna graduate in 2016.
I would descripe myself as a creative person: I play the guitar, I love movies, and love to create things in genereal like crafting, cooking, texting.
I have a little start up with my brother called Kastenhocker (www.kastenhocker.de). We design, produce and distribute designer stools for bavarian beer crates.
I am really into Marketing so this is my little Marketing project to see how far I can go with a strong Marketing.

NOTE: I WON'T HOST PEOPLE WHO SEND UNPERSONAL REQUESTS (especially not during Oktoberfest....guys, seriously?????)

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

When I did the planning for my big trip in America I first came into contact with couchsurfing. I heard that it's the shit if you are an open-minded, kinda crazy, open minded young guy. So I signed up and got my first CS experience in Vancouver and did a lot of Surfing in America that year. it was amazing.

Now I am back in Germany and try to host ppl once in a while. It's not that easy now since I live in a shared flat in Nuremberg and am travelling back and forth btw Munich and Nuremberg.

Just request me, maybe I have time. If you have questions about Nuremberg or Munich, I am super happy to answer them! You wanna grab a beer, wanna hang out, wanna grab a bite? Just text me, maybe we can hang out!
