About Me

CURRENT MISSION

To meet fun, well-traveled, open-minded people.

ABOUT ME

I had a baby 6 months ago and made huge life changes. I have had the same summer job 15 years now and have always traveled in the winter season. I have lived in Key West FL, Anguilla BWI, St. Thomas USVI, and have travelled extensively in the Caribbean, have been to Mexico, Costa Rica, Ireland, Paris, Micronesia, and Guam. Having a child has slowed me down somewhat and I miss meeting new people from other parts of the world. I am looking forward to hosting fellow couchsurfers.

I love the beach, was a scuba instructor and totally miss the underwater world, I've worked on a horse farm, as a real estate appraiser, a clerk on Wall St., an auto parts delivery girl, a waitress, bartender, a taxi driver, and just about as anything you can name. I love to learn new things, am open to new ideas, and love meeting new people.

PHILOSOPHY

Live and let live is how I treat people. I generally treat all new people the same, without judgement, regardless of their reputation- until they do me harm, everyone is welcome in my world.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

My home is open to travelers who don't mind children, dogs (yellow lab Hunter), cats (a really cool Bengal Nala), and morning coffee.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

New to this world of couchsurfers.

Interests

Photography, my Harley Davidson, scuba diving, travel, reading, movies, rollerblading, eating out, and meeting people.

Music, Movies, and Books

LAMB by Christopher Moore, Jodi Picoult, reggae, soca, hip hop, classical, rock n roll, basically all music except I don't like techno.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Scuba diving off Salt Cay in the Turks and Caicos, we ran into a pod of >30 dolphin and enjoyed their quiet company for half an hour or so!

Teach, Learn, Share

I can teach you how to ride a motorcycle, how to make awesome spinach/artichoke dip, how to enjoy the Hamptons outside the main stream, where the best sunsets and sunrises are, and where the best restaurants are!
