ABOUT ME

I'm Jules, I'm 23 and I'm French! I love to travel, meet new people and new cultures. I leave New Zealand for one year from April 3, I hope to live many experiences there and share good times with the locals. I am cheerful, joking and open-minded. I like to party and listen to music with friends. I am someone who loves nature and especially the mountain. I hope to meet as many people at the heart of my journey.

PHILOSOPHY

I am a very big fan of the writer Henry David Thoreau and like him I want to live in the present moment contenting myself small pleasures of life. I want to be myself in a world where everything is different me.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I just started Couchsurfing and I hope that people will kind enough to host me. I hope to meet lots of different people and sleep homestay to know the local way of life. When I go travel I hope my turn to host travelers and global citizens.

Interests

I love spending time with my friends, listening to music, partying and drinking beer, riding motorcycles, I love ice hockey (I've done for 15 years), I am happy when I find myself in the middle of nature, especially in the mountains.

Music, Movies, and Books

I am a film buff (The Big Lebowski, The Lord of the Rings, Gus Van Sant ...). I also love reading books on philosophy of life with authors such as Henry David Thoreau, Arnaud Desjardins, Thich Nhat Hanh). And I listen to all styles of music (whether electro music, rock, reggae, pop, soul).

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Once I went to a festival without seeing a single concert. In fact I'm staying all night at the bar.

Since I am French, I can learn French! And I make the bike so I can teach someone to do so.
