About Me

My current travel is less aimless than some adventures in the past as I'm going with the hope of finding my new homebase place. Generally just excited about life, the one I'm living and those with whom I cross paths.

I'm a (relatively) recent graduate of CU Boulder's engineering program. Grew up in Oregon and have very happily lived in Boulder, Colorado for the last 5 years with a few months out here and there. Playing outside, grooving to music and animals make my world go round. I have a car that I'll be traveling the road in but I love to commute by bicycle whenever possible.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I'm currently embarking on a cross-country trip to check out all the places I am considering moving to. I started in Colorado, moved north from Utah through Wyoming and Montana and then west to Washington and have since begun to head South through Oregon, California and then over to Arizona. I hope to do a fair amount of camping but I would love to be able to surf and get to know some people and see cities and towns from the inside. Also, I'm always accepting advice and ideas, remarkable places to see or experience etc. and couchsurfers regardless of hosting or not has always proven to be a great source of that information.

Interests

I enjoy hikes, swimming in oceans, creeks, rivers, lakes, rock climbing, rock laying, camping, eating good food drinking good beer, feeding people, yoga, walking, dancing to live music, card games, reading and light-hearted creativity sessions. Ha I think that covers the basics..
