COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I met a lot of couchsurfers in Amsterdam. Probably, the Amsterdam community saved me from being lonely during my few months there. Thanks for that, guys!

Couchsurfing really is more than just staying over at somebody's place. You meet a lot of people from all over the world and enjoy your time together, be it a picnic, bicycle trips, having a drink at a bar, etc. There is no prejudice and rarely couchsurfers do not get along in one way or another.

By now, I have met a lot of couchsurfers and asked them about their couchsurfing experiences. My experience: some couchsurfers might be strange but it is always worthwhile to stay and travel with couchsurfers.

I am currently drawing a lot while mainly focusing in portraits. Beware! Maybe you will be my next subject!

I am looking for new kinds of sports to explore. Running and gym is fine but nothing to do together with others really...

Currently reading: "Thinking, fast and slow"

Movies: The movie I have watched most often in my life is The Fountain. It is crazy because there are a lot of movies which are - I think - more enjoyable. But its images so often get me stuck in awe. And its topic is fascinating, too.

Of course there are others, but I think just listing them would be boring and too easy, don't you think?

Music? Varies a lot, too. Currently, I am very much into Rush, Ayreon and Devin Townsend.

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I was standing on the cliffs of Ireland while there was a heavy storm. It was amazing to hike the way up with sun and almost no wind at all and at the top there we were and got almost blown away (towards the land though fortunately) and saw the waves 200 m beneath us.

I am always eager to learn. And to listen. Whoever wants to learn from me can learn (not to perfection, however):

- drawing
- playing some kinds of flutes
- frisbee

Well, if someone would teach me playing the guitar, I would love it!
