I'm curious about mostly everything. This autumn I’ll go on a very exciting journey to Kunming, China to study mandarin. I love to leave my comfort zone once in a while to get new perspectives and grow more as a person. I love to get inspired by other people and their way of living and thinking. For me it’s the best way to develop and break patterns, get creative with ideas and feel happy. I would consider myself quite philosophical and love to question and discuss basically everything.

I love learning languages. At the moment I'm (obviously) interested in learning Chinese (mandarin). If anyone is interested in learning Swedish I’d would be very happy to teach, but I’m also quite fluent in English.

When I’m in Kunming I want to find out about as much as possible, especially the food, tea, calligraphy, the culture and just in general how people live, what people think and what people do!

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I like to meet new people and I have enjoyed hosting people, going to CS meet ups and created great friendship, so I hope to continue with that. Couchsurfing for me is not about free accomodation, I want to be able to spend time with people I host, and hopefully with people I surf at too. At least for some hours. Because for me one of the main points is to meet locals and stay in a more personal way than a hostel while travelling. Also get the great opportunity to make a new friend :)

Couchsurfing is not a dating website, so please don't send me irrelevant messages like "hey beautiful, how are you?" - I'm not gonna reply. I want cultural exchange, conversations, frienship, fun and enjoy time together with people. I don't want to sound harsh, but I write this only because a lot of people seem to miss the point.

Everything about languages. You can never learn too many languages and there's no end how much you can learn about them!

Reading is a big part of my life and try to read as much as possible.

Recently I’ve started with climbing, mainly bouldering, love to do that more and more!

I like to play and try new board games! I really like Terraforming Mars, Small world, Catan, Bohnanza

Cooking, drinking tea and eating, especially indian food, Italian food! AND RAMEN! And Chinese, Korean... well I could go on forever. I like food. I always wanna enjoy and experience the local food culture (both eating and cooking) when I go somewhere, and I have never encountered any cuisine that I don’t like :)

I've practiced yoga and meditation for about 10 years and will never quit! There's no better way to learn about your body and mind.

Music: I like music from all over the world, I always have very difficult to describe what I like but folk maybe? Turkish 70s music, Russian rock, Indian classics whatever! I don’t listen a lot to specific artist, just a huge mix of great songs composed in to playlists

Authors: My 4 all time favourite: Fyodor Dostoyevsky, Haruki Murakami, Juli Zeh, Isabel Allende. I recently read ”The three body problem” by Liu Cixin, it was definitely one of the best books I’ve read and now I’m looking forward to the following books in the trilogy, he will probably join my all time favourite authors!

Movies: I love Studio Ghibli movies and similar Japanese anime. I also like Wes Anderson movies. Any great drama, sci-fi or classic!

Aurora Borealis is one of the most amazing things I've ever seen in nature, stunning and so beautiful. (Also Aurora is my middle name)

One other amazing thing was to have the opportunity to live and study in Hong Kong for one semester.

I can teach you about Sweden and my different interests and experiences. I like to have discussions and talks when everyone can share thier knowledge and thoughts. I'm very interested in the environment, sustainability, smart solutions, urban gardening, and love to get inspired by people who do something they love, whatever that is.

Lately I’ve learned quite a lot about tea, which was very fascinating to me, so I could happily share that knowledge.
