ABOUT ME
We, that is Matheus and Julia, met in our exchange study year in Rome. Even though the distance between Rio de Janeiro and Mainz is big we are seeing each other as often as possible and connect these visits with small travels. Now we both finished our education, Matheus a master in Economics and Julia her exam to work as high school teacher in biology and Latin and we used this moment as the first when we both didn't have any obligations anymore to start our biggest travel so far - South America in a self made motorhome.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We are impressed by the fact how much a travel experience can change when you are in contact with locals. Finding that people all over the world have similar dreams and interests, exchanging ideas and getting to know a place authentically is what we search for on couchsurfing. And especially now since we are traveling with our VW Bus we are hoping to find possibilities to find a good parking spot, a hot shower and the chance to cook on a stove with more than two flames (of course for our host as well).
