My name is Julia and I am from Austria.
Currently I’m travelling back and forth between Vienna (AT) and Amsterdam (NL) for work and try to get most out of these two cities.
I am keen to explore the world and get to know new people, have interesting conversations with you and expand my horizon while travelling around.

My focus is not just on sights or touristic places, but really on getting a feeling of “how’s life there” & the people you find in different places. We all have something to share🫶🏽

I love sports - especially outdoors! Any kind of hiking, climbing, running, yoga and acroyoga.

I’m also into dancing - main passion is bachata, but i’m also into salsa (cuban and LA).

My music choice strongly depends on my mood - I could listen to anything! I play the violin, so I do like classical music too.

Same for movies and books: depending on my mood I love Harry Potter or books from John Strelecky which make me think. In addition to that, I go for Hesse and Zweig as well.

Cooking, baking (especially bread), cultural perspectives, Energy distribution, generation: in general ANYTHING about energy industry, as this is my main field of work and energy transition is most relevant for managing societal challenges such as demand side management, consumption behaviour and load shift to succeed in fighting climate change.
