Hi!
My name is Julia and I am an Italian girl currently studing Photojournalism and Documentary Photography at the Gloucestershire University, in Cheltenham, England.

I grew up in Grottaferrata, a small town in the south of Rome with two brothers and a lot of pets. I love travelling and discovering new cultures since I was a child, I spent three month in Thailand in 2015 and I already visited Paris, Lisbon, Berlin and Gniezno (Poland) but I am planning to go at least one time in each European state before moving on and travelling further.
I have also been to the Caribbean, New York and Boston for some projects organised by the United Nations, but they have been really short visits.

I am on Couchsurfing because I love travelling and it would be fantastic to meet people with my same passion around he world to share advice, experiences and a bit of our culture.

Musik, Filme und Bücher

I love both reading and listening to music so it's a bit hard to choose my favourite book or song, but I can definitely say that my favourite movie is I Origins.

Eine tolle Erfahrung, die ich gemacht habe

I have so many memories about a three months trip in Thailand I did in 2015.

It has been amazing but the experience I mostly enjoyed in that period was the day spent somewhere in the jungle in the north, in a sanctuary where I had the opportunity to see elephants from as close as never, without hurting or disturbing them in any way, only feeding them and having a wonderful bath in a river together!

Unfortunately at the moment I cannot host anybody, I am studying and I cannot afford a flat large enough yet.
