I’m Julia, 22 years old and studying law usually in Freiburg in Germany, at the moment studying abroad in Rio de Janeiro. My free time here I will use to travel through Brazil and the rest of south america. Such a beautiful large country and exiciting continent that I don't even now where to start.

Travelling without spending a lot of money on expensive hotel, hostels, appartements or what ever is a whole different experience. Spending time alone in nature with your tent or with generous people who like to share their home, food and storys with you makes you feeling grateful and much more like living life and it also makes your experiences more unique and unforgettable.

I like different kinds of music sometimes fast and loud to dance for hours and forget everything else like techno or rock and sometimes more calm and emotional songs listining to alone or with your friends maybe at a bonfire like alternative or indie music. I like reading novels (some great ones I read recently and definitely can recommend: Die Entdeckung der Langsamkeit by the german author Sten Nadolny or The Cider House Rules by John Irving.

Highlining! Just the most crazy and incredibly sport ever, I can't imagine it sometime could become less exiciting.

If you want we can go hiking or rock climbing together, I can also share my knowledge about slacklining and highlining with you of you are interested.

If you come to Rio can show you my favourite places (most of them probably in nature but also bars or restaurants) of Rio and we can discover together some more because the city is just incredibly big! If you host me I would like to cook for the two or how many of us we will be, I really love cooking because it is quite meditating and also a physical way to say thank you. Also of course sharing slackline, acroyoga, a liiiittle bit of juggling knowledge and language skills (german, english, also a liiiittle bit of portugese) if you like!
