My name is Julia, i study environmental engineering in Munich. I finished my Bachelor recently and because i dont have as much vacations as other students have (our exams are in our vacations), i decided to take a year off. I want to get out of my everyday's life in munich, experience new cultures and get to know myself better. I think travelling and especially travelling alone is a great way to do so.
I speak german, english, french and since I was in central america also a little bit of spanish, hehe :)

I would describe myself as a very optimistic and happy person. I'm always curious about learning new things and meeting interesting peolple :)

Because Couchsurfing is a great opportunity to get in touch with other cultures and countries. You meet new, interesting people and it is a cheap way of travelling as well.

I love sports like surfing (sea and river in munich), sailing, swimming, hiking, biking, horseback riding ... i learned kite surfing in Colombia one month ago - so much fun!!
I also like to read and sew ... eating ice cream ... enjoying nature ...
