About Me

Hello! I moved from Vancouver to Montreal 2 years ago and am enjoying exploring this side of the continent. I work as a climate policy analyst, practice muay thai, and am an avid reader. I’m most interested in political ecology, economics, and history. I also run and cycle - ran a marathon last year and am slowly planning a Vancouver-LA bikepacking trip. Would love to meet new people and have fun together 🌞

When sending me a request to stay, keep in mind you are not reserving free accommodations, but building a relationship. Please tell me about yourself and why you chose my profile, what you think we have in common, your plans during your stay in Montreal, etc. Generic copy-paste requests will be denied or ignored. Guidance on how to write a good request is available here: https://support.couchsurfing.org/hc/en-us/articles/200640010-How-do-I-write-a-good-couch-request

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I’m on this app because I love the idea - staying with/hosting people is way more fun than travelling using hostels or hotels. I also am absolutely furious that accommodations/travelling in general is so expensive. I love building community and sharing perspectives and skills. I think we can learn a lot from each other through observation and conversation.

Interests

I have pretty broad interests and am open to most experiences. Spontaneity and serendipity bring me a lot of joy! I’m also quite versatile - love being an early riser but also enjoy a good late night out.
