Minnesotan, born and raised in a big family in the wholesome Midwest of the USA. Studied music in college and went on to pursue a graduate degree in arts administration. Love to play music, meet new people, cook and eat good food, explore, go adventuring outdoors, and throw myself into unfamiliar situations. Unfortunately never learned a language besides English but can get by in Spanish.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

My favorite thing about traveling is meeting new people. People from a whole variety of backgrounds. When I visit a new location, I like getting acquainted with someone who lives there and actually has a pulse on the place. Also, I have started to get travel fever, and I am hoping to start trekking my way across different countries.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Went on a 40-day expedition by canoe through Northern Canada, ending on a bay of the Arctic Ocean.
