Hey,
I'm Julia, an 18 year old girl from Germany who just finished High school and is now traveling Australia. I'm living with relatives in Melbourne at the moment and would love to meet up or live with some other Australians during my future travel because it's the best way to experience the culture and the way of life in other countries. To me it's way more important to get to know the people in a country than just seeing all the tourist attractions.
I'm a very happy, open-minded person who loves to experience new things and meet new people.

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

I want to live a country I travel and not just visit it and I think couchsurfing is the best way to really get to know the people, the culture and the way of life in a country.
I've never used couch surfing but I have lived with host families all over the world (USA, El Salvador, Sweden, Norway, Austria, Thailand) through other organizations (like CISV) and only had great experiences with it :)

I love playing music (piano and saxophone) and listening to almost anything, but I my favorite band at the moment is Twenty one pilots, followed by Fall out boy, Blink 182, Panic! At the disco and Arctic monkeys.
I read a lot, at the moment I love books by Chuck Palahniuk, my favorite ones are Fight club and Invisible monsters.

The most amazing experiences I had where in all the international camps I've done where I found the most amazing friends all over the world. One of the best ones was when I was a junior leader for 11 year olds last year in El Salvador because I didn't only have fun but learnt a lot from it :)
