Hey there :) My name is Julia and I am originally from Nuremberg, Germany. I’ve been working and traveling abroad for a few years and had mostly good experiences with Couchsurfing . Most of the time I’ve been lucky enough to meet really great people and learn about different cultures.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet people and experience the cities and places I'm going to visit as much as a local as possible or give that chance to other people.

Interests

Traveling off the beaten path even if some typical tourist things have to be included in my trips. I love to go out and try new things but every now and than I like to just lay in bed, watch movies and see how long I can go without moving ( doesn't everyone have those days ?! :D )

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Socially : I went to Kenya and visited a school ( 1-5 grade at that time ) ,where I planted a tree ,and Visited a hospital with a new "birthroom"in the middle of nowhere. One in a life time chance to meet the people who founded the school, meet the students and see how happy all those people are with the few things they have.

Experiment wise: planing two roadtrips using the Greyhound bus in the USA. Trip #1 I've hit 8 states and DC in one week and it was amazing. Trip #2 Hitting 22 states in 3 weeks with a lot of adventures and stories to tell.
