Overview
About Me
I like to think of myself as a fun loving and open-minded person.
I really enjoy getting to know new, interesting people, sharing stories, making new stories together.
I think everyday is an opportunity to advance in life, be that intellectually or just new experiences to make. And you should seize as many of those opportunities as you can.
Right now, I'm a college student here in Berlin. My major is historical linguistics (and I'm a total nerd when it comes to that) and my minor is Gender Studies (so, if you want to have a feminist debate, I'm up for it).
Also, I've been a vegan for a couple of years now (but frankly, I don't really give a shit what other people choose to do with their life/food).
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I think Couchsurfing is the best way to travel. Whenever I travel by myself, I do it. It's like you already have a friend in a place that you've never been to. It's a whole different way of getting to know a town and it's culture.
And I'm very happy to be able to give that back to other travelers when I'm home in Berlin. Especially because I've noticed that there's not a lot of female hosts on this site!
Plus having people from all over the world in your home feels like taking a little vacation without ever leaving ;)
Interests
I like the usual stuff: going out with friends, watching movies, listening to music, travelling, having discussions about the world.
I also like cooking. And I sew my own clothes and am trying to sell some of them online (and even with more and more success at that).
And well, the rest in the About Me section. You know, language nerd and so on...

Music, Movies, and Books
It's so hard to pick favorites.
I used to listen to mostly punk and alternative, but now my taste in music has become much broader and I like everything if it gets me groovin'.
Right now, I'm reading the Daodedjing by Lao Tse. My last read was by about shamanism by Carlos Castaneda. But I must be honest, I don't read much (besides very old poetry or early German legends for Uni...)
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Spending a school year in the US. I learned so much about the country and even more about myself. Making a lot of lifelong friends, even family along the way.
What I Can Share with Hosts
I can share my time and my stories. And also my limited knowledge about beer :)
