I enjoy staying with locals because I always try to avoid the typical tourist stuff. I'm a curious person. I want to try local food, get to know local music, I enjoy the company of local people. I want to know how they live, what are their hobbies their opinions about their own country. I grew up in a very open house with open parents. We always had guests. I like this kind of being together. I always lived in shared flats.

Two years ago I helped at farewell split in NZ to safe pilot wales which stranded at the beach. It was my most sad and most beautiful moment of my travels at the same time.
