After finishing High School in Germany last year, I decided to do a gap year in the US. Therefore I am currently living in Michigan. From July 2015 until July 2016 I am a volunteer for a local non-profit organisation. My job is to visit socially isolated elderly people who have no friends and family around and help them whereever I can.
During my time here I would love to explore the US.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I hope to meet a lot of new people from all over the world whereever I go and have interesting conversations.
For my trips I would love to stay with someone who lives at my destination area. Whether they show me famous and hidden places through their eyes and with their experience as locals or just tell me inside tips where I should go - I would really appreciate that.

Interests

I like reading and writing stories. I enjoy sports too, especially swimming.

I enjoy learning languages ( so far its just English and French, but I intend to change that) and learning about different cultures.
Within the last two years my wish to explore other countries became bigger, but only after I finished High School I was really looking into making my travel dreams come true

Teach - I can teach you german and tell you about the german culture.

Learn - I would like to learn a whole lot of things. Starting with different languages, learning about different cultures, habits and ways of life, going on to learning how to play the guitar and trying different sports. There is no end when it comes to learning.
