Hello there!

Well, what can I say, besides to those obvious facts below.

~ I'm Julia (suprise!) unfortunately I don't have a nickname so if you're creative please feel free! There are three Julias in my group of friends and none has a nickname so it really gets confusing sometimes.

~ don't mock me but I can't whistle... Shame on me.

~ I really like beer! And not only because I'm from Bavaria.

~ I believe in Karma and that everything happens for a reason.

~ I study physical therapy so for my last Christmas my parents got me a skeleton. His name is Igor.

~ I managed to kill my caktus.

~ I'm a dog person (I like cats too, but if I had to pick, the dog would win. Always)

at the moment I'm doing a hike along the coast side of Portugal. I did over 200km in the last 11 days so I'm actually pretty proud of myself 😅

Couchsurfing for me means sharing. Sharing your home with other people and exchanging stories and experiences

Interests

Traveling, hiking, sightseeing, reading... I'm pretty easy, show me something interesting and there is a big chance that I might like it too.

Music, Movies, and Books

I can't watch thrillers or horror movies without a pillow to hide underneath. But I don't like love films either. Everything in between is great 😅

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

Last summer I travelled to Sweden doing a Kajak tour with a friend. Both of us never did kajaking before so it was quite fun and luckily we didn't drown ourselves 🙌🏼

Next thing: I took part in a charity travel compatition, which means we had 36h to get as far away as possible and try to raise money for a charity organisation by accomplishing some challenges and getting sponsors. Oh and the best thing? We weren't allowed to spend any money! Don't now how but we managed to get from Munich to Stockholm, only by hitchhiking.
