About Me

Last year I graduated from high school. I didn't know what I wanted to do after graduation so I decided to take a gap year. In this past year I tried to discover what I wanted to do with my life and I started working at an eldery home as a volunteer. This job was one of the most amazing expierences I've ever had. Making someone's day and seeing how happy people can get over the smallest things is so rewarding. A couple of months ago I finally found a study I want to do after my gap year. In September I'll be starting the study for dutch sign language. I'm so excited to start this study and learn a new (very rare) language .

Music, Movies, and Books

There's not really a specific genre of music that I like. I can listen to pop one day and jam out to rock the other. Some days I'll listen to songs from the 80's and other days I only listen to the radio.
It's kind of the same with movies, there's not a specific genre I enjoy more than others. The only genre I never watch is horror. My brother sometimes shows me trailers from horror movies and just the trailer freaks me out so no horror for me.
I really enjoy reading fantasy books, but I also like a good contemporary book once in a while. (I just really enjoy reading, I don't really care what genre it is. As long as it's a good story.) There is this serie called The River of Time series and it is the best thing I've ever read, I highly recommend reading it!!

Teach, Learn, Share

One thing that really amazes me is the universe. I could listen to someone talk about constellations, galaxies or black holes for hours. It is just so mindblowing to me that we live on a planet that's just a small part of something so immense.
Same goes for the ocean. We know about like 5% of what lives in the sea and that really fascinates me (and also freaks me out a bit.)
