Overview
About Me
Currently a film student in York. Love TV and films, long conversations and purposeless walking around. Also, sometimes, wine.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
The occassional (but enthusiastic!) traveller that I am, well, I had to get a couchsurfing account, didn't I? I'd love to get to know some of you, because cultural tourism is fun, and inspiring.
Interests
Writing, and all pathways for the expression of creativity, really; anything language-related; I also dabble with psychology, because humans are fascinating. Currently reading Stephen Hawking's A Brief History Of Time, so I will excitedly talk about how I think modern physics doesn't make any sense.

Music, Movies, and Books
Movies: Often whatever was in cinemas last year. For now, I remain impressed with Call Me By Your Name.
TV series: huge fan of Hannibal; with occasional ventures into Buffy The Vampire Slayer, American Gods, Wonderfalls, Brooklyn 99, and others.
Books: The Portrait of Dorian Gray, Donna Tartt's The Secret History, old-time Harry Potter fan
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
I've once burnt my finger quite badly by petting the kettle, because I thought it was upset about something, all shaking and fidgety like that.
I also lived and worked in Paris for 6 months, which was a great experience, so deserves its place beside the fidgety kettle.
Teach, Learn, Share
I could probably teach you some Polish if you were for some reason set on learning a difficult and not very useful language. But I'm sure we can share plenty of ideas and stories, too.
