About Me

Hi there, nice to meet you!

I'm Julia, a curious and open-minded traveler, eager to learn from everyone that crosses my path; with a positive and proactive approach to life, calm and empathetic, and passionate about working towards a sustainable future, bringing people closer together, and creating consciousness for this precious planet we live on. I'm trying to be present with each breath and allow life to unravel its magic. I'm definitely a child of nature: I love the sea, taking long hikes through the forest, feeling the sun on my skin and marvelling at starry night skies. I love the quiet but also to meet new people, connect and discover places I've never been to. I love to just sit somewhere and pick up the local vibe.

I'm a third-wave coffee enthusiast and plant-based foodie. I absolutely love to try different local cuisines, bake and make all things chocolate-related. And very much into Thai cooking :)

Apart from that, I'm clean, tidy and respectful. I love to share moments but am completely happy to discover stuff by myself, too.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

I love listening to the stories, experiences and ways of life of people who call the world their home. It's great to stay with complete strangers and get to know them. Also, when you're new somewhere, what would be better than staying with someone who already knows the place and can share his favourite things to do there? :)
