I enjoy books that are dystopian or explore social issues, including "The Handmaid's Tale", "The New Jim Crow", and more. I crack up at reality TV just because it's dramatic, but aside from this I like to watch shows/movies about mysteries and horror stories. For music, I'm pretty much down for anything from rap and R&B to rock, Indie or Alternative.
