I'm the one of us who has a new idea and then I convince Max.
After our one-year trip during the Corona-Time 2020/21, we started biking and made different trips in Germany and Europe so far. And now finally we're on our next longtime trip: We're looking forward, Africa!

After being inspired by an idea of Julia, I start working by planning all the details and getting the travel setup ready. For our current trip, I spend lots of time about the bike gear.
I’m an uncomplicated guy who loves biking, hiking and camping. I’m very open minded and get along with pretty much everybody. I also care about sustainability, which means I'm vegan, non-smoker, no car owner.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

We want to discover the world and experience the life of locals and travelers, to learn about other cultures and to get to know the places we visit from a different perspective. We don't wanna just be tourists.

As long as we don't travel on our own, we are happy to have guests from other countries, to have a spirit of traveling at home.

Interests

We love to be outside and enjoy the nature. We appreciate the nature and all animals and treat them with respect. That means for us, that we are vegan (both) and we leave every place as it was before. However we love good food, or coffee, or chocolate...

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

In 2019 we took part in a "Megamarsch", which means, that we had to walk 100km (about 62 miles) in 24 hours. No real break, no time to sleep.

We got married in Georgia during our one-year-trip in 2020, just with two Georgian friends as witnesses.

We traveled for one year, mostly hitchhiking and sleeping in the tent, and it was awesome.
