I've just quitted my studies of Environmental Sciences in Lueneburg but I still live there if I'm not on the move. Right now I'm travelling and hitchhiking around Germany and France using my free time until I start studying Social Work in September. Therefore I'm gonna move even more north to Kiel.
I'm new here on couchsurfing and can't wait to use it for my current journey.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

Because I love to get to know the stories of people with different backgrounds and share moments of hospitality. And I think locals can show you their city/town way better than a Lonely Planet could do! Including some cultural specials and their own favorite spots.

Interests

I'm doing yoga and like hiking in hilly forests. Since last autumn I've got a slack-line and now I'm looking forward to practicing in fine weather.
I like good vegetarian food and most of all I love having breakfast while listening to the music of Real Estate or Bombay Bicycle Club (a ritual I created with a good friend).
I'm interested in alternative life models that respect nature as much as possible and try to find out what fits me most.

Music, Movies, and Books

I often listen to the dreamy sounds of Ben Howard, José Gonzales, BOY and some unknown musicians like Ósk from Iceland or the israeli Band Jane Austen.
But I also like dancing a lot! Therefore I really like the music of Crystal Fighters (especially live!), Moglebaum and 'Saùde' by Pupkulies & Rebecca is one of my favorite songs for moving.

Hmm and movies...?! I haven't watched many movies in the last months but if I do so, I prefer films like 'Monsieur Claude und seine Toechter' and 'Die fetten Jahre sind vorbei'. Referring to my friends one of my deficites is that I haven't watched 'Into the Wild' yet, which seems to be on of the must-sees :D

I love the stories for reflection by Jorge Bucay and other short narratives or fairy-tales. The biography of Hannah Arendt by Alois Prinz inspired me a lot and no matter how old I am I will always be a fan of Harry Potter!
