About Me

Hi I´m Julia and I'm currently travelling the west coast of the USA.

I love travelling and meeting new people. Nowadays it's so easy to meet people from different cultures and that's amazing.

I am spontaneous, funny, clumsy and I love to explore the world and it´s people.

I want to learn as many languages as possible in my life. I´m already fluent in German, English and French and I´m learning Dutch and Spanish. After that I want to learn Portuguese and Russian, that would be amazing.

So at the moment I unfortunately can't host anyone as I'm travelling myself. But as soon as I'm back you are welcome to stay at our place for a few days. I can show you then the hidden spots if beautiful Brussels if you like to.

IMPORTANT: Sorry boys but I can only host female travelers.

Why I’m on Couchsurfing

To meet new people and to get to know beautiful California with new friends.
I want to get to know new cultures, learn something new about myself and just have a good time.
Moreover I want to meet people I can learn something from and who I can maybe teach some life hacks. This will be an amazing time which I will never forget, I´m sure about that.

You can learn something from everyone and that's a great gift.

I know that travelling can be expensive so I'm glad if I can help you out with an accommodation.

One Amazing Thing I’ve Done

When I was 19 I´ve moved to Brussels, Belgium to be an Aupair there for a month. For some this might not be a great deal but for me it was a huge step as I am the youngest in the family and everyone always used to watch out for me. Suddenly I decided to do this, to move to another country, to a new family, I didn´t know if this was going to be good or not. In the end it turned out to be a life changing decision. I fell in love with the people here, the languages (yes plural!), their open-mindedness. This was completely different to what I used to know.

After 9 months my time here was over and I went back to Austria, I was working there for a year, enjoying the family time. But I wasn't really happy. I have changed. So I moved back and here I am. I can do whatever I want to with my life, I got the skills and now also the courage to do it.
