I am a bachelor's student on an exchange at the University of Mannheim. I am originally from Seattle WA. I enjoy exploring new places and trying new things. I love trying new foods and am particularly fond of Eastern European and Italian cuisine. (Also I messed up my age and I’m pretty sure there’s no way to change it now, I’m actually 20 not that the difference is massive :))

I love the outdoors and all type of outdoor related activities. Camping is a personal favorite of mine and I would be happy to compare stories and give potential recommendations for cool west coast locations or national parks. I also really love climbing but have only bouldered outside, the rest has been in a gym. I also really enjoy “mountain biking” but I do it in a really not impressive way where I pick safe paths and don’t do anything cool or particularly fast.

I also really enjoy playing sports. I love volleyball, sailing (small boats) and snowboarding. I also played basketball and I golfed both of which were fun, I was just horrendous at them :)

Another hobby of mine is playing card games and board games, however, I am terrible at chess and can only do the bare minimum. Some of my favorite board games however, are quirkle, rumikub, dixit, and codenames.

I’m really not sure what else to write about myself but I feel like a picture tells a thousand words, so if you really wanna get a feel for me as a person I’d like to direct you to my photos :)

Music, Movies, and Books

I am currently in an indie and light edm phase of music, but I enjoy almost anything.
Some of my favorite movies are, interstellar, fight club, catch me if you can, and inception. I do have to admit that I consider Harry Potter a comfort film and would happily watch it on a rainy night at home with friends.
I haven’t had the opportunity to read a lot recently but I enjoy good dystopian/adventure books, trippy/mental sci-fi, and when I’m in the mood I can enjoy more historical or philosophical books.
