Overview
About Me
I'm a middle school math teacher and traditional musician from Maine in the USA. I primarily play fiddle, but also play banjos, accordions, and anything else I can get my hands on.
I love foraging for, growing, and preparing good food, being outside, and curling up on the couch with my wife, a good book, and a mug of tea.
Why I’m on Couchsurfing
I have benefited from many people's hospitality over the years and I would like to reciprocate! I like things that are free and to learn from other people.

Music, Movies, and Books
I play and primarily listen to trad music from New England, Appalachia, Quebec, UK, France, Ireland, etc. I love 2nd and the 7th degrees of the scale and their relationship to the tonic.
I like to read novels and non-fiction, dictionaries and young adult literature, children's books and mushroom field guides.
I am a sucker for certain British comedies, Judi Dench, and old Johnny Depp.
One Amazing Thing I’ve Done
Traditional Breton dance in France.
