ABOUT ME

I am an architect, which is why i really love to travel and see different places, cultures und people. Unfortunately one can only experience most cities as a tourist, so meeting locals and getting to know their ways of living through couchsurfing is just fantastic.

PHILOSOPHY

i love traveling and seeing new places and to share these experiences with other people is even better! i love seeing the places from locals eyes. Maybe even creating friendships out of it!

HOW I PARTICIPATE IN COUCHSURFING

i have couchsurfed only a few times which were interesting experiences. ;)
i also like to host, when time and space allows.

COUCHSURFING EXPERIENCE

I try to have couchsurfers when i actually can also spend some time with them... but i'm quite busy at the moment so hosting is a bit difficult.
To be honest, I do not appreciate requests basicly saying "we only need a couch to crash for free...". For me its about the spirit of sharing time together and connecting with a place on a more personal level, not just letting someone stay for free. I would also not request this of other hosts. thank you for your consideration.

兴趣

Well, of course architecture but I also like photography, art, sports (ultimate frisbee etc), food, travelling, music festivals, books and so much more.. we will definitely find something to do and talk about :D

音乐、电影和书籍

books: travel guides, any architecture book but also some classic or modern literature.
i like rather alternative movies, watch a few series, but try to limit it, from comedy as well as drama or sci-fi, documentary etc.
the music i enjoy most is indie/alternative and singer-songwriter, and electronic for going dancing. i'm open for inspiration though. :)

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

a trip through australia with my best friend Alice, where we visited many great places - the fraser island tour was definitely a highlight!
A while ago Alice and I hiked up Mount Kilimanjaro, which was a great experience, beautiful landscape, fantastic people. It took some serious willpower but we made it!

well i could teach you german, of course, but that's hard to learn, I wouldn't recommend it ;)
i studied architecture, so I generally know some facts about Berlin and the history so i like playing the tourist guide :D
