Buenas, Salut, Hej, Hi there, I'm Julia!

I come from France, lived in Iceland and in Denmark and in Spain the two last year! So you can guess that I like to travel and experiment new cultures!
I started CS experience when I was 17, 6 years ago, for two months it was incredible ! Now that I moved back to France, I want to take advantage of my weekends to meet people.
I'm often traveling with my boyfriend and we live together. His CS profile is Aymeric Buriez.

We won't be available a lot during the week and we are not often here the weekend (we often go to the mountain, if you are interested in we can host you there), but you can try your luck.

I love the principle of meeting new people, share and learn from them, discussing or debating about a lot of topics! I like deep talk (or also talk about nothing). I consider myself as open minded, extrovert and curious.
However, if you are sexist, racist, against LGBTQ+, validist or else, then we shouldn't meet. I don't feel safe with intolerant people and don't like cruelty (and I don't think it's very CS spirit)!
Also CS is an app to meet people but not a date app, so don't reach me for that...

我为什么加入 Couchsurfing

It has started since july 2019, I was 17 and I would liked to introduce to my correspondent french culture. What could be better than sleeping in local's house?
I lived several amazing stays, impossible if I would have stayed in a hotel (hotel are sooo boring).
My last experiences in Sweden and Denmark were just amazing !! I learnt so much about the country and that's what I'm looking for!
Funny story: once a host wasn't able to host us at the last minute, but offered us her house. That was so crazy, I love the trust of this community! (But honestly I would have preferred that she was there to meet, that's why I am here and not on Airbnb :) )

I will accept requests only if they are personalised and that I can see you read my profile (you can add the word chocolate in the request ^^). For me, CS is really about sharing and meeting someone, if you just want a free hotel, this is not my philosophy 😉.

Ça a commencé en juillet 2019, je voulais faire découvrir à ma correspondante la culture française, quoi de mieux que de dormir chez l'habitant ?
J'ai vécu plusieurs séjours formidables que un hôtel ne m'aurait jamais apporté. J'ai arrêté avec mes études et le covid, mais j'ai très envie de recommencer. Je ne suis qu'au début de cette exeperience CS, et je crois que je ne suis pas prête de m'arreter!

I adore outdoor activities such as climbing (even if I mainly do bouldering for proximity reasons), hiking, skiing, caving, cross-country skiing, running, swimming in rivers...
I am (or was cause it's been a while) a glider pilot. Sky enthusiast, it would be a pleasure for me to tell you more about this!
I'm interested in many many subjects: nuclear science, psychology (especially mental health and neurodivergence), dance, history, health, plants... I cannot make an exhaustive list.

I love particulary science fiction, but in fact, I am not difficult with movies and books.
For music, I have diversified tastes: Rock, Metal, Punk, Jazz, Techno, Blues and even classical music!

我做过的一件不可思议的事情

I lived during 3 months in Iceland for my master thesis. One month was near Vatnajökull, the biggest glacier, where we carried out several glaciological and hydrogeological experiments on it. I can show you the picture of the rivers that we turned out in pink and green. This glacier and this country are wonderful!

I think that living with 45 people during 2 years and sharing a small kitchen with only 6 stoves and the groceries with them. This is not amazing but crazy !

I have many funny anecdotes that I'm looking forward to tell you !
